Destination: Bogong High Plains/ falls creek area

More trip details: 

Overnight bushwalking trip in the Falls Creek area. We will drive up Fri night, put our packs on and walk a short distance to campsite (maybe up to an hour) then set up camp. Saturday explore the area and walk to new campsite and walk bakc to cars Sunday.  Exact location is currently TBC- get in touch if you have preferences!) 

Most of the gear you need is available for hire from the club, but you will need your own suitable clothing and hiking boots. 

This bushwalk will be suitable for people who haven't done it before/don't have much experience.  There will be a zoom session the week of the trip to meet, plan food if you want to share with someone and opportunity to ask questions about gear etc. 
 

Approx cost: $80-$120 (fuel + gear hire (max $15 if hired from club for weekend) + BYO food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you don't have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
