Overnight xc ski trip planned (obviously will be dependent on snow conditions!).
This is a not a beginner trip, and required a high level of walking fitness. We will be ascending around 1000 meters of elevation.
Current plan is Bogong which requires Hiking some distance with a heavy pack ~ 10 km to the hut where we will be staying.
Driving up on friday night to mountain creek. You will be welcome to carpool with us and do a more chill falls creek trip as long as we can get a lift home on sunday! (dependant on drivers and leaders)
We will be camping above the snow line.
The club has telemak skis avaliable for hire along with most of the other grear required.
Note: We do not have snowboards avaliable for hire but if you have one you would be welcome to join on snow shoes which are avaliable!
This trip will likely be suitable for hikers keen to try winter snowcamping too.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
