XC ski day trip planned (obviously will be dependent on snow conditions!). This trip may be suitable for beginners, but it does requrie hiking experience and a reasonable level of walking fitness.

You need to have a reasonable hill climbing fitness
Destination: Depends on snow Lake Moutain, Mt St Gwinear or Mt Stirling most likely
Approx cost: ~$90 (Fuel ~$30-50 + ~$30 resort entry + gear hire (max $25 if hired from club) + food

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
