We'll be doing an overnight trip on Lake Eildon, driving up on Saturday morning and kayaking to our campsite for the night, and doing the reverse on Sunday.

This will require us to carry all our gear in the kayaks, so pack lightly. We will see how the group goes, and cover anywhere from 8-20km each day.

Lake Eildon is one of the best places to try out touring kayaking, and learn the basics of it which is necessary before being able to do other trips in more challenging locations.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
