Overnight xc ski trip planned (obviously will be dependent on snow conditions!).

If there is sufficient snow at Mt Stirling we will head there, otherwise we will go to one of the huts off falls creek.

Plan is to leave Friday afternoon and camp off mountain, before heading up to the resort early Saturday morning. We will ski out to a hut, where we will camp in the snow and enjoy more skiing for the remainder of Saturday and Sunday morning, before skiing back to the cars. We may need to walk a bit of distance carrying skis if there is insufficient snow in certain areas.

The club has telemak skis avaliable for hire along with most of the other camping gear required.

Note: We do not have snowboards avaliable for hire but if you have one you would be welcome to join on snow shoes which are avaliable!

This trip will likely be suitable for hikers keen to try snowshoes and winter snowcamping too  (plenty of snow shoes avaliable from the club)
