Experience required: Beginner / Intermediate rafting; intermediate-Advanced kayaking

Pre-requisities for rafting:

• You must be able to swim 50m (2 laps of pool) in moving water,

Additional pre-requisities for kayaking:

• completed intro to kayaking or equivalent
• comfortable kayaking with minimal issues in grade 2+ rapids

Destination: Mitchell River

Gear: Confirm with trip leader if gear hire is available

Approx cost: about $100-120 (including gear hire - depends on how expensive fuel gets)

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right gear. Trip leaders can answer questions you might have. If you dont have the right gear you may get left at uni and leaders might be unwilling to take you in the future.
