Training - fitting chains to car.  An essential skill for all snow trips!

Who: Anyone interested in skiing should come - an essentail skil!

What: Come and lean about snow chains and practice fitting! We will cover

- the legal requirements (and differences between victorian resorts)

- different sorts of chains (ladder vs diamond and where appropriate/where not)

- types of vehcles and how to fit

- everyone will have a go at fitting chains onto a car and taking them off agan (possibly more challenging than putting on!).

Bring: Old clothes (you wont mind getting wet/muddy) Raincoat if its raining. Headtorch if you have one 

Cost Free for LUMC members

Location: We will distribute exact location to those interested - will be somewhere safe/off road on campus

This will run hail/rain/shine (only guarantee is it will be dark) - we often need to fit chains n dark on a friday night and often in sleet and windy conditions so we will practice regardless of weather!
